Shellfish selfish

 The shellfish lives for itself

While the selfish live for themselves as themself 

Through love of themself

And the selfless thrive on loving others as themself

And as a person climbs in between these two

They represent a spectrum of love

Delusions and lusts, and denials of trust

And worthlessness and worthfilled people they meet as love

And of love they see, and of love they know

As if they were always aware, they were love of self
